John Sullivan

John and I became friends through junior golf at Bear Hill Golf Club where our parents sent us every summer day from the time we were 8 or 9 years old.  We became decent golfers but were always the slowest swimmers on the Bear Hill swim team.
As teenagers we had summer jobs digging ditches for the Bond Construction company.   The old timers on the crew liked to joke that " we were the only kids they knew who could sleep standing up!"

I had been looking forward to seeing John at the reunion..... I will miss him
