7:00pm "Shadows of 1775" an original play will be playing at Centre Congregational Chapel, 5 Summer St. Hear the words of those who represented Lynn End (as Lynnfield was known then). This event is free and open to all. Seating is limited. First come/first served.
The premise of the play is that ten real-life figures from 1775 Lynnfield are telling their stories of April 18-19 to the audience, through questions posed by a narrator, thus telling the whole story of the beginning of the Revolution locally.
Alan Foulds is the narrator and also the plays director.
LHS 1970 Classmate Joan Colucci will be playing Zervia Townsend, the wife of Daniel Townsend, who was killed on April 19, 1774. Also, Alan was was interviewed about the play on Prof. Robert Allison's Revolution 250 video and podcast, found here: Revolution 250 Podcast - Shadows of 1775
Alan's interview comments are just beyond the 15-minute mark.
